After Platonov

After Platonov, an adaptation of the Chekhov play, Platonov, was created and directed by Craig Johnson. It was presented at the University of Minnesota by actors in the University of Minnesota / Guthrie BFA Acting programs Class of 2019. My design prioritized the mythics of this provincial Russian world and in particular leaned into the idea of the long night and the bright morning as aesthetics.
